· Congestion has been impacting everyone during this peak season. Helping to create huge delays in shipping and causing major supply chain disruptions. Vessels are often left for days waiting to berth and once cargo is unloaded due to demand truckers have also been heavily impacted. Now weather appears to be throwing in another issue for upcoming deliveries.
· September and October have brought heavy rains to various locations in the US. Winds have also been a factor for drivers. Several states have also faced localized flooding because of prolonged rain and at times torrential down pours. Making roads impassable at times.
· The Midwest to the East Coast are now bracing for another round of storms possible Wednesday and Thursday. This will undoubtedly impact trucking and the supply chain of needed cargo.
